Vessel Screening

Vessel screening is a risk management tool used to evaluate a vessel’s suitability for chartering and commodity deliveries under contracts of sale.

Haugen screens tankers and barges by thoroughly investigating its suitability for the intended trade by taking into account all available information including port and terminal limitations, ship inspection reports, Q88, and Port State Control information.  Using the key criteria employed by oil majors and Port State Controls, we summarize the relevant data in a readily digestible report to help clients make informed decisions.

Keeping in mind that commercial requirements oftentimes dictate the need for prompt responses, our reports are finalized within four hours, on average.
